Sports reporter and TV presenter Natalie Quirk will host SVG Europe’s Sport Production & Technology Summit, sponsored by Panasonic, alongside the Sports TV Awards, sponsored by Canon, both to be held at Chelsea F.C. on 28 October 2021.

Beginning at 11:00, SVG Europe’s Sport Production & Technology Summit will feature a packed schedule of conference sessions, networking, exhibits and a tour of the iconic Stamford Bridge, bringing together thought leaders and key production, technology and operations decision-makers to discuss how their product and solutions strategies are responding to the ongoing evolution of sports broadcasting.

For the Sports TV Awards, Quirk will have the honour of opening the golden envelopes that reveal the winners in each of the 2021 Sports TV Awards six categories: Outstanding Production Achievement – Innovation; One Planet Award for Sustainability in Sports TV; The SVG Europe Women Award for Diversity in Sports TV; Outstanding OTT Experience; Outstanding Audio Innovation; and Outstanding Production Achievement – Event.

The Summit and Sports TV Awards, which will both be free to view, will also be embedded into the SVG Europe Sports TV Awards website, alongside being streamed on both SVG Europe’s YouTube channel and the SVG Europe Facebook page for those unable to attend in person due to ongoing travel restrictions.

A qualified broadcast journalist, Quirk has been a TV presenter and reporter for BT Sport since 2014, working regularly on the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup, Women’s Super League, and National League coverage. She has also hosted British and International Grand Prix Speedway for the channel and has recently joined the MotoGP team.

Quirk previously reported on football, speedway, MotoGP, rugby league, boxing, basketball, hockey, ice hockey, rallycross, and stock car racing at Sky Sports, Eurosport, Premier Sports, Freesports, MUTV, and Channel M. Before appearing on screen, she worked in radio as a news and sports reporter for national station Absolute Radio as well as local stations in the North West of England.

The winners of the SVG Europe Sports TV Awards 2021, sponsored by Canon, will be announced on Thursday 28 October at Chelsea F.C. during the Sport Production & Technology Summit 2021. Registration for both events is now open to members and sponsors here.
