Australia-based research agency Mobile Digital Insights (MDI) has hired former Behaviorally exec Inna Merenkova as Managing Director for Europe, charged with building a standalone MDI Europe business. She is based in London.

Inna MerenkovaMDI focuses on designing research specifically for mobile, and deploys market research via its proprietary mobile apps. Merenkova (pictured) joins from shopper insights specialist Behaviorally where she served as MD, Europe, before which she was MD at PRS IN VIVO, heading up UK operations. Earlier she worked for Kantar as Global Client Lead; spent sixteen years at TNS in a variety of roles, including Deputy MD for the TNS Custom Business in Russia; and was Research Director at Optimum Media OMD Group; having begun her career as a Project Director at Gallup Media Russia.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO and company founder James Fergusson said: ‘Having worked with Inna at Kantar TNS, I am delighted to welcome her to MDI. Inna’s personality, mobile knowledge skill set and vast experience is ideally suited to both meeting our clients’ needs across the UK and Europe and building a strong presence in the region’.
