Denmark, France and Iceland qualify for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025

Group 2 – Belgium 0-3 Denmark, Czech Republic 2-1 Spain

Czech Republic picked up their first win when becoming the first to take points of an already-qualified Spain. Aitana Bonmati’s opener was cancelled out close to the break by Katerina Svitkova, Eva Bartonova converted a penalty and Spain had Irene Paredes sent off with 20 minutes left.

Denmark’s 3-0 victory in Belgium propelled them to the finals, Nicole Cayman conceding an own-goal on the hour, followed up by efforts from Pernille Harder and Sara Holmgaard.

Group 3 – England 2-1 Republic of Ireland, France 2-1 Sweden

France clinched qualification by beating Sweden. England are three points ahead of the Swedes after relegating Republic of Ireland. Sweden’s Josefine Rybrink replied to Sakina Karchaoui’s opener early in the second half but Marie-Antoinette Katoto won it for Les Bleues in the 74th minute.

Alessia Russo fired England into a fifth-minute lead, Georgia Stanway added a spot-kick, Julie-Ann Russell netting a late consolation for Ireland.

Group 4 – Austria 3-1 Poland, Iceland 3-0 Germany

Iceland joined Germany in qualifying for the final tournament with a stunning 3-0 defeat of the group leaders. Ingibjorg Sigurdardóttir’s first-half effort was added to after the break by Alexandra Jóhannsdóttir and Sveindis Jónsdóttir.

Austria kept their place in League A by sending Poland down in a 3-1 result.

League B

Group 1 – Azerbaijan 0-5 Hungary, Türkiye 0-2 Switzerland

Switzerland are promoted following their 2-0 success away to Türkiye, achieved with both goals around the hour mark. Hungary’s 5-0 win in Azerbaijan sees them make the play-offs for Euro 2025.

Group 2 – Slovakia 0-2 Scotland, Serbia 1-0 Israel

Claire Emslie’s brace gave Scotland the points in Slovakia and they host a group decider on Tuesday with Serbia, whose 1-0 defeat of Israel from an early goal left their visitors three points adrift in the relegation place.

Group 3 – Malta 0-2 Northern Ireland, Bosnia & Herzegovina 0-0 Portugal

An own-goal and Kerry Beattie header saw Northern Ireland win in Malta, thereby taking a play-off place while relegating their hosts. Bosnia & Herzegovina held an already promoted Portugal to a goalless draw.

Group 4 – Croatia 0-3 Wales, Kosovo 0-4 Ukraine

Wales will be going back up to League A with just a point at home to Kosovo on Tuesday, after Jess Fishlock, Sophie Ingle and Kayleigh Barton (penalty) scored in Croatia. Ukraine got all four goals of the game inside the first half hour in Kosovo, who have still to get off the mark.

League C

Group 1 – Georgia 0-2 Belarus, Cyprus 1-2 Lithuania

Belarus will enter the play-offs and are promoted to League B after victory in Georgia, where it was goalless until the 86th minute. Cyprus finish bottom with a home defeat by Lithuania, whose Rimante Jonušaitė completed a brace in added time.

Group 2 – North Macedonia 1-2 Latvia, Moldova 0-5 Slovenia

Five-goal Slovenia are headed for League B, Latvia moved within a point of second-placed North Macedonia whom the beat 2-1 despite being pegged back at 1-1 in stoppage time.

Group 3 – Greece 6-0 Andorra, Faroe Islands 2-1 Montenegro

Greece go three points clear at the top, as they hit Andorra for six and Faroe Islands beat second-placed Montenegro. Antigoni Papadopoulou netted a 20-minute treble for the Greeks.

Group 4 – Kazakhstan 0-3 Romania, Armenia 1-3 Bulgaria

Romania were already up and made it five straight wins with three goals in Kazakhstan, Bulgaria went level on points with Armenia in second.

Group 5 – Luxembourg 1-1 Estonia

Estonia claimed their first point and the draw in Luxembourg means that Albania take the automatic promotion place.
