It’s not often that we have a reader/Facebook follower reach out to us asking for a very special favor. But two weeks ago, someone did just that. We received a Facebook message from a high school senior asking if we could please help her best friend’s boyfriend ask his girlfriend of three years to prom. How could we resist?
The plan: Create a special, one-of a kind Delish recipe video for Dom (the girlfriend) to watch. So, the recipe you see here is kind of a decoy—but don’t let that stop you from trying it. It’s definitely an awesome idea for an ice cream sandwich. Any donut, any ice cream flavor, any kind of sprinkles—it’s all delish.
At the very end of the video we wrote a—legitimately—sweet message for Dom from Sean (the boyfriend). Ellie (the best friend) is helping us out by live streaming Dom’s reaction right now. Head over to our Facebook page to see all of the adorable action.
