For someone who drinks every night on his talk show, Watch What Happens Live, you’d expect Andy Cohen to have one killer at-home bar. His doesn’t disappoint.
During a recent home tour with Elle Decor, Cohen took us behind his bar, showing us exactly what he stocks at home — hint: there’s plenty of tequila — and some of his favorite bottles he’s been gifted over the years.

While the kitchen is the heart of many homes, at Cohen’s casa, the bar is where everyone gathers. “I barely cook, to be honest,” he told the magazine. Friends, like neighbors Anderson Cooper and Sarah Jessica Parker, often stop by for a drink and a quick catch-up. That’s when the Bravo star plays bartender, slipping behind the gold-tiled island to make one of his favorite two-ingredient cocktails, like a Maker’s Mark with ginger ale or his signature Fresquila.
“All you do is take a little Fresca, and a little tequila — okay, maybe more than a little,” he told us while mixing the drink. “It’s so easy. It doesn’t even need a garnish.”

The bar features three rows of open shelves — enough to house all of the different kinds of alcohol Cohen keeps on hand, along with the proper glasses for serving just about any type of drink. He’s got skinny Collins glasses, stout tumblers, and stemless wine glasses, skinny Collins glasses, but his favorite part of the bar are the bottles he’s been given.
“One of the benefits of drinking on TV every night is people like to send you special, limited-edition bottles of fancy booze,” he explained, pointing out a few favorites, like a crystal-covered bottle of Don Julio, as well as another liquor with his and his dog, Wacha’s, faces etched on the glass.

The bar isn’t crammed with bottles, though — there’s an artful consideration to what goes where, courtesy of designer Eric Hughes. Each piece is carefully organized, so the bottles act as works of art in their own right. Fans’ gifts and other personal items “speak to him in a way that they don’t to a lot of clients,” Hughes said.
Art you can drink? We’ll raise a glass to that.
