Tea Made from Breakfast Cereal and Milk

Tea Made from Breakfast Cereal and Milk

Admit it, when you finish your cereal in the morning you glance around to make sure no one’s looking and then enjoy the best part of the cereal — the cereal-infused milk at the bottom. Other than the weird milk from our Franken-monster cereal experiment, this heavenly concoction can make your morning. Here’s where it gets tricky — what if you love Froot Loops-infused milk, but you only eat the sugary cereal once in a while?

Aaron Geman solved this (possibly existential) dilemma with “breakfast cereal tea.” As he wrote in the step-by-step Instructables, “any two-bit hack can flavor some milk with cereal and then ditch the cereal.” His solution is much more refined than food waste or furtively putting the bowl straight to your lips.

Luckily Geman lets everyone in on his secret, demonstrating how he deconstructs a tea bag, fills it with crushed cereal, and makes the most innovative hot beverage in recent history — sorry, Tiramisu Latte. The only question is, which cereal will you choose for your first cup?
