Detroit-based Wolverine Packing Co. is recalling 1.8 million pounds of ground beef. According to the Associated Press, the meat products in question could be tainted due to E. coli.
The ground beef was shipped to distributors in Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio and was meant for restaurant use. The packages were produced between March 31 and April 18 and have the establishment number “EST. 2574B.” The dates will read as follows: “Packing Nos: MM DD 14.”
