The C10 all-electric SUV will sell from 36,400 euros, while the To3 starts at 18.900 euros. However, Stellantis specifies that “the prices mentioned are indicative and may vary according to the market.” That said, the prices for the specific countries are not yet available in the configurators.
The T03 is a compact vehicle in the A-segment with an interior that, according to Stellantis, is more familiar from the B-segment. It has a battery capacity of 37.3 kWh and a range of 265 kilometres (according to WLTP). The T03 will be “available from the end of September.”
The C10 SUV should arrive at dealerships in October. It is based on the Leap 3.0 architecture and was the first Leapmotor model designed for the global market. The C10 has a 69.9 kWh battery, a WLTP range of 420 kilometres and can charge its battery from 30 to 80 per cent within 30 minutes.
As reported recently, the first batch of T03 and C10 electric cars has already been shipped from China to Europe. The exact number has not been confirmed, but Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares mentioned in a conference call that the first shipment consisted of 800 units.
In the long term, however, the vehicles for the European market will no longer be built in China, but in Europe. The T03 will be built at the Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland. Moreover, Leapmotor International CEO Tianshu Xin told reporters in Italy that the “T03 model will start official production in the fourth quarter this year.” Where the C10 will be built in Europe, however, has not yet been decided, according to Xin.
Last year, Stellantis acquired a 20 per cent stake in Leapmotor to boost its business in China and bring Leapmotor’s electric cars to Europe. They then founded the 51/49 Stellantis-Leapmotor joint venture. Thanks to Stellantis’ sales channels, Leapmotor International plans to have 350 sales outlets in Europe.
Leapmotor International wants to launch at least one model each year between 2025 and 2027. At the end of 2024, the company will foray into the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America. According to a previous announcement, it initially eyes Turkey, Israel, and French Overseas in the Middle East and Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Malaysia in the Asia-Pacific, and Brazil and Chile in South America. It is reportedly considering launching cars in South Korea as well.
