FATIMA, PORTUGAL - MAY 13: The Cardinal Secretary of State of the Vatican Pietro Parolin parades before the figure of Our Lady of as he presides under a strong sun the International Mass and Farewell Procession during the last day ceremonies of the two-day international pilgrimage in celebration of the 106th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima first apparition in Cova da Iria in the Sanctuary of Fatima, presided this year by the Cardinal Secretary of State of the Vatican Pietro Parolin, on May 13, 2023 in Fatima, Portugal. The Sanctuary of Fatima has received more than 200,000 pilgrims and 119 registered groups of 23 different nationalities as it opened its premises for this international pilgrimage on occasion of the 106th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's first apparition on May 13, 1917, in Cova da Iria, to the little shepherds Francisco and Jacinta Marto.
