Two clubs looking to challenge for the top four in Ligue 1 meet at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday, when Nice travel to Lens.

It will be an emotional fixture for Nice manager Franck Haise, who will return to the club where he enjoyed four excellent years, getting Lens into the Champions League after two decades away.

We say: Lens 0-0 Nice

Lens’ run of draws will not go on forever, but the likeliest outcome is a fourth-straight stalemate here, with little to separate the sides, and the hosts performing very impressively in defence of late.

Unfortunately for Nice, they cannot play Saint Etienne every week, and they will find it difficult to break down a side yet to concede a home goal this season.

Lille will look to recover from a sluggish start to the season when they travel to the Stade Oceane to face Le Havre in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

With a dream fixture at home to Real Madrid on the horizon next week, Bruno Genesio will desperately want to see his side end their current winless run here.

We say: Le Havre 1-2 Lille

Only two of Le Havre’s 47 previous Ligue 1 home games have ended in draws, and this is likely to be no exception, in what could be a 30th defeat in that time for the hosts.

Lille may be on a five-game winless streak, but Le Havre are favourable opponents for them having won the last five meetings between the two, and they are fancied to make it six here.

Flying high on a three-game winning run across all competitions, Monaco seek to remain on the coat-tails of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain when they welcome Montpellier HSC to the Stade Louis II on Saturday.

Adi Hutter’s men survived a huge scare to triumph 3-1 over Le Havre last time out, while their visitors edged a five-goal thriller with Auxerre for their opening win of the season.

We say: Monaco 3-1 Montpellier HSC

While Montpellier have got a major monkey off their back by claiming their first win of the season, Der Zakarian’s men remain as vulnerable as ever in defence and should be given a harsh reality check in the principality.

Monaco could be forgiven for having one eye on their impending Champions League trip, but we have complete faith in Hutter’s side to warm up for their trip to Croatia with a fourth win on the spin.
