The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are renowned as the longest-running and most respected recognition of excellence in the travel world, showcasing the very best destinations and experiences. This year’s winners were officially revealed on Tuesday, October 1.
Voters assessed the entrants in a range of criteria including service, atmosphere, dining and overall guest experience.
General Manager of Adare Manor Brendan O’Connor said it is “an extraordinary honour” for the Limerick-based resort to be crowned the Best Resort in Europe for the third consecutive year.
“This recognition means so much to us, as it reflects the opinions of the most important people to all of us at Adare Manor — our guests.
“Their continued support is the ultimate testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team, across all departments,” Mr O’Connor said.
“We are privileged to be in such esteemed company and to be recognised in this way for creating memorable experiences that exceed expectations.
“This award not only celebrates the unique nature of Adare Manor but also underscores the heart and dedication that every member of our team brings to our guests’ experience,” he added.
Adare Manor has become synonymous with luxury and elegance, from Michelin-starred dining at the Oak Room to the Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course, which is due to host the 2027 Ryder Cup.

The Irish Examiner scored Adare Manor a perfect 10/10 during our most recent visit in May.
Our Travel Editor Jillian Bolger said that there is a “sincere welcome” at Adare Manor that “permeates every corner of the hotel”.
In the ‘Need-to-know’ section of the review, Jillian said that there isn’t any room to improve and that the resort should be saved for a grown-up escape, celebration or romance.
