Sweden continues with Melodifestivalen, where six more acts will compete in the fourth heat for two places in the Grand Final in March, and two more in the Second Chance vote. Eskilstuna is playing host the contest this evening.

The running order for tonight’s show is:

Lia Larsson – “30 km/h”
Dotter – “It’s Not Easy to Write You a Love Song”
SCARLET – “Circus X”
Lasse Stefanz – “En sång om sommaren” (A song about summer)

🇮🇸 Iceland: Söngvakeppnin Semi-Final 2 – 20:45 CET

Söngvakeppnin continues this evening with the second of two semi-finals. Five acts will be competing for two places in the Grand Final of the Icelandic song contest. From the six remaining acts who did not directly qualify for the final a wildcard qualifier will also be selected.

Unlike previous years, the national final is not necessarily the selection process for Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024. Due to the current situation in Israel and Gaza, Icelandic broadcaster RÚV, has announced on its website that the final decision on Eurovision participation will be taken by the broadcaster in consultation with the winner of Söngvakeppnin 2024.

The running order for the second semi-final is below. All songs, as is tradition, will be performed in Icelandic in this semi-final.

Heiðrún Anna – “Þjakaður af ást”
Bashar Murad – “Vestrið villt” (Wild West)
Sigga Ózk – “Um allan alheiminn” (All over the universe)

🇸🇲 San Marino: Una voce per San Marino 2024 – Final – 21:00 CET

The final of the third edition of Una voce per San Marino 2024 takes place this evening, as San Marino selects its representative for Eurovision.

Thirteen finalists are competing to represent San Marino in Sweden this May. The finalists were selected through three routes; Big Artists, The San Marino Sessions and Emerging Artists. Big Artists directly qualified for the final and Emerging Artists who qualified from the 129 acts who made it to the semi-finals. The San Marino Sessions saw songs created with the support of artificial intelligence, with four voted on by the public.

The Big Artists are:

Aaron Sibley – “Human”
Aimie Atkinson – “A Dare for Love”
Dana Gillespie (San Marino Sessions) – “The Last Polar Bear”
Jalisse – “Il paradiso è qui” (Paradise is here)
La Rua – “Governo del cuore” (Government of the heart)
Loredana Bertè – “Pazza” (Crazy)
Marcella Bella – “Chi siamo davvero” (Who we really are)
Pago – “Il protagonista” (The protagonist)
Wlady, Corona, IceMc, Dj Jad – “Questa volta” (This time)

The acts who have qualified from the Semi-Finals and Second Chance Round are:

Daudia – “With You”
BOOOM! – “Dance Like This”
Mate – “Big Mama”
Dez – “Freedom”
Kida – “Invincibile” (Invincible)
Masala and Foresta – “Paranoia”
MEGARA – “11:11”
Xgiove – “Nostalgia”

The winner of the Sammarinese selection will be determined by jury voting. The show is being hosted by Fabrizio Biggio and Melissa Greta Marchetto, while Riccardo Coccinate is a guest of the show.

🇵🇹 Portugal – Festival da Canção 2024 – 22:05 CET

Portugal’s search for Eurovision commences this evening as Portugal celebrates 60 years of participation in the contest and Festival da Canção.

Ten artists will be taking to the stage this evening in Lisbon all vying for a place in the final of Festival da Canção 2024. The qualifiers will be chosen across two rounds of voting.

In the first round, an expert jury and televote will determine five qualifiers. In the second round, the remaining five songs will be voted on again with the public selecting a sixth finalist.

The running order for this evening is:

Nena – “Teorias da Conspiração” (Conspiracy theories)
Perpétua – “Bem Longe Daqui” (Far away from here)
Mela – “Água” (Water)
Mila Dores – “Afia a Língua” (Sharpen the tongue)
Left – “Volto a Ti” (I come back to you)
Rita Rocha – “Pontos Finais” (End points)
Noble – “Memory”
João Borsch – “Pelas Costuras” (Through the seams)
Iolanda – “Grito” (Scream)
Bispo – “Casa Portuguesa” (Portuguese house)

The show will also feature guest performances and appearances from a cast of singers, presenters and talent who have been associated with Festival da Canção over its 60 year history.
