Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces plans to open its first ever permanent store in Poland. The new store, UNIQLO ARKADIA, will be located at Westfield Arkadia shopping center in Warsaw, and will greet its first customers in fall 2024. UNIQLO ARKADIA will carry the full line-up of LifeWear for men, women, kids, and babies over a sales floor of approximately 1,300 square meters. The opening of Poland’s first permanent UNIQLO store follows a successful pop-up store in Warsaw, UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior, which opened in September 2022.

Taku Morikawa, CEO UNIQLO Europe, said “We are thrilled to take this next step in UNIQLO’s journey in Poland and bring UNIQLO’s versatile and everyday essentials to even more people in Warsaw. With our first pop-up store at Wars Sawa Junior, we have seen how customers have embraced our LifeWear philosophy, which is inspired by the Japanese values of quality, longevity, and simplicity. It’s a great honor to open our first-ever permanent store in Poland in a city so rich with history and culture, with a forward-thinking spirit that aligns with our brand values.”

Expanding store network across Europe
UNIQLO is continuously expanding its store network in Europe, bringing LifeWear to more and more customers. In spring 2024, the company opened regional flagship stores in two new cities, Rome and Edinburgh, while additionally opening new UNIQLO stores in central London, Nice, and Milan. Including these five stores, UNIQLO now operates a total of 76 stores in 10 markets across Europe.
