To mark the start of the Liechtenstein Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, which began on Wednesday 15 November, the country’s flag was raised in Strasbourg city centre. Shortly before the flag raising ceremony, a tram, painted in the country’s national colours, was inaugurated at the “Droits de l’Homme” tram station, in front of the European Court of Human Rights, and close to the Council of Europe’s main building, the Palais de l’Europe. The Liechtenstein presidency, which followed that of Latvia, will run for six months until May 2024, when the presidency will pass to Lithuania.
