The Glacier Express travels through the Unesco World Heritage section of the Rhaetian Railway

Among its most scenic routes is the eight-hour epic high-altitude Glacier Express, which coasts through plunging gorges and creeps along the edges of monumental mountains on the Unesco-listed Albula Line before descending into the Rhine Gorge.
