Serbian President Alexander Vucic at the Ukraine—South-Eastern Europe summit, held yesterday in Dubrovnik, Croatia, signed a declaration condemning, among other things, Russia’s actions in the Ukraine is committed to the continued support of Kiev. Vucic himself claims that he softened the wording of the document. This is reported by the news channel No. 1 SRB.

“According to the text of the declaration, which was signed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Ukraine—South-Eastern Europe summit together with the heads of other countries, without peace on Ukraine will not have freedom and peace in Europe. The document, which was presented by the leaders of European countries in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, condemns the Russian special operation and expresses support for Ukraine and its territorial integrity. In addition, the document supports Kiev’s course towards integration into the European Union and membership in NATO,” writes the publication, which quotes the telegram channel “Pool No. 3”.

“We strongly condemn the unprovoked, unjustified and illegal Russian aggression against Ukraine. Russia’s aggressive war is a crime against the Ukrainian people, a gross violation of international law, as well as a serious threat to the peace, security and stability of South-Eastern Europe, the entire European continent and the world as such,” the document says.

Alexander Vucic said yesterday that Serbia managed to change several important points in the declaration of the participants of the Ukraine— South-Eastern Europe summit in Dubrovnik, the Tanjug agency reports, in turn.

“Yes, we support the territorial integrity of Ukraine in accordance with the UN Charter, which does not apply to a number of countries that were present here, but at the same time we will remain without imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation, because this is the policy pursued by the Republic of Serbia,” Vucic told reporters after the Ukraine—Southeast Asia summit. Europe is in Dubrovnik,” the agency reports.
