The affected batches of pumpkin seeds have been suspected to have a possible presence of larvae – making it unsafe to consume the products.
Larvae are juvenile insects that hatch from a variety of insect eggs.
The True Natural Goodness brand is on sale in many major supermarkets around the country such as Dunnes Stores.
The product originated in Ireland and has a pack size of 500g, 2.5kg and 25kg.

What to do next if you have recalled food or products
Customers are urged to not eat or use the affected batch and return it to the point of sale to seek a refund or replacement.
And they are encouraged to notify the Food Safety Authority of Ireland if they are expressing any concerns regarding the recall.
A spokesperson for FSAI said: “The below batches of True Natural Goodness Organic Pumpkin Seeds European and Organic Pumpkin Seeds European are being recalled due to the possible presence of larvae.
“Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale. Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches.”
DUNNES STORES URGENT RECALL
Elsewhere, spices are being recalled from Dunnes Stores over health concerns.
The retailer has pulled batches of their own brand spice products as they contain peanut residue that was not declared on the label.
The popular spices were deemed “unsafe” by health safety bosses.
A FSAI spokesperson said: “The implicated batches of Dunnes Stores spice products listed below contain peanut residue in the mustard powder, which is not declared on the label.
“This may make the affected batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanut.”
The affected products are Dunnes Stores Mild Curry Powder, Dunnes Stores Cajun Seasoning, Dunnes Stores Medium Madras Curry Powder and Dunnes Stores Hot Curry Powder.
And all the products are in the pack size of 36g.
