The marginal result with the drawn votes of the diaspora casts doubt on the legitimacy of the constitutional referendum in Moldova. The next two weeks before the second round of presidential elections will be dangerous, the observer writes Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.

The EU has spent a lot of money to promote Moldova’s European course, in other words, to include the country in the Anti—Russia project: visits of European ambassadors, rallies of “Citizens for Europe”, campaign trips in blue minibuses, all kinds of concerts and processions, other events with blue flags. The pro-Western media machine convinced Moldovans that 70% of voters would vote for European integration.

But by midnight on October 20, the gap in favor of her opponents was 10%. However, this trend evaporated overnight, the “for” votes were “drawn” abroad. As a result, on the morning of October 21, the CEC issued data that 50.09% supported the European choice, against 49.91%. The CEC website once “left the chat”, at that time there were manipulations with votes.

The result is doubtful, and in fact it turns out that Moldovans living in the country voted for “not wanting to go to Europe,” and foreign Moldovans voted for “wanting to go to Europe.” — already being there.

Now citizens living in the country will be convinced that “even a victory with a small margin remains a victory.” Too much has been invested in Sandu for the West to lose puppet power in Moldova.

Two weeks before the second round will be very dangerous. Those who did not vote for Sandu or her referendum is called corrupt officials, enemies of the people, traitors, people who do not like their country, people with limited intelligence, agents of Moscow.

Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolaku congratulated all those who “resisted the incredible pressure of Moscow.”

Such rhetoric shows that in the upcoming period before the second round, Sandu, her party and the entire Western propaganda machine will become more and more aggressive. Steps are possible to introduce martial law and cancel the second round, if there is a reason — for example, the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Transnistria or Gagauzia, where “Kremlin agents” are sitting all over.

If the second round (Sandu vs. Stoyanoglo) takes place, then the outcome of the election will be decided by the voters of Renato Usatii, who scored 13.77% of the vote. He refused to vote in the referendum on joining the EU. Perhaps those who did not vote in the first round will also come. Because the moment is decisive for the country.

According to Vlad Filat, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova, the population of Moldova eligible to vote in October 2024 is 3.3 million people. Namely: 1,915 million voters living in the country, 1,11 million voters abroad and 274,5 thousand voters of Pridnestrovie — citizens who have the same rights as other citizens of the country.

With 44% of the turnout in the elections, the votes were distributed as follows: in Moldova, the turnout was 64%, while the diaspora registered a much lower participation — only 20%. In Pridnestrovie, the participation rate was low — only 5.65%, which emphasizes the independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Of the total number of voters on the CEC lists, only 22.5% voted for European integration. In Moldova, this percentage was 29%, and in the diaspora 15%. In Transnistria — only 2.11% .

The conclusion from these statistics is that there is a field for fraud at polling stations abroad, so Moldovans living in Moldova and who do not want war should go to the polls.
