The Technical Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, this afternoon in Munich met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama.
In the meeting, as announced by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, the excellent bilateral relations and the great friendship between North Macedonia and Albania were emphasized, which, as they say, is an example of good neighborliness in the region, and thus a contribution to the stability of the Balkans. West and in Europe.
“Regarding the bilateral relations, it was found that the cooperation is comprehensive, there is an increase in the trend of trade exchange, the political dialogue is regular and at all levels and the common goal is the European integration of the two countries and the region”.
“At the meeting, it was emphasized that both countries, with European policies, need Europe and deserve to become full members of the Union by 2030 and that the negotiation process will enable effective reform processes and the advancement of living according to European standards, which it is the expectation of the citizens. In this regard, it was estimated that the most serious political confirmation from the EU for efficient European integration in the Western Balkans is the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, approved by the European Commission. And, the determination to advance economic capacities was emphasized, with the aim of accelerated regional economic growth and development, according to European standards”.
“Prime Minister Xhaferi confirmed his presence at the high-level conference dedicated to the EU growth plan at the end of this month in Tirana, noting that it is another opportunity to reaffirm the region’s commitment to further strengthening the regional connection and the market common regional, as a prerequisite for the preparation for entry into the European common market. And, he confirmed his presence at the Southeast Europe – Ukraine Summit, in Tirana, as an opportunity to reaffirm the union with the international democratic public, in defense of peace”, the announcement states.
At the end, it is added that in the meeting between Rama and Xhafer, they also discussed the expectations from the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in RMV, emphasizing the role of pro-European political entities that have placed the country on the Euro-Atlantic democratic path and before which the realization is of European perspectives, in terms of importance for everyone in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as for the region./Telegrafi/
