OSHEE, a global leader in functional beverages, has signed a partnership with the Romanian Football Federation, thus becoming the official sponsor of the Romanian Cup. This collaboration will run for 5 seasons, highlighting OSHEE’s commitment to support sport at all levels.

The Romanian Cup, a competition reinvented in 2022 by implementing a more attractive competitive system, welcomes a new member to its family. The competition, which brings together teams from all echelons and from all corners of the country, will benefit from OSHEE’s energy and expertise in supporting large-scale sporting events.

OSHEE is a Polish company, present in 55 countries on 6 continents and has always been in close contact with football. The company has worked with major European clubs such as Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund and is currently the official partner of LaLiga Santander in Poland.

“We are glad to have a brand like OSHEE that will support the Romanian Cup, one of the traditional competitions of Romanian football. By signing this sponsorship contract, we have gained a partner with a clear vision and strategy, who understands the importance of investing in sport, whether it is in terms of athletes, events or competitions. We are convinced that together we will be able to contribute to the development of Romanian football, to the promotion of the Romanian Cup locally and internationally and to the promotion of common values and principles throughout society”, said the President of the Romanian Football Federation, Răzvan Burleanu.

The fact that a second-tier team had won the previous season of the Cup, managing to overcome far more popular teams with much more valuable players, was very familiar to us – it was like a reminder of our company’s journey, having grown rapidly to the level where we have become respected rivals of multinational giants.

“The partnership between OSHEE and the Romanian Football Federation to support the Romanian Cup was a natural fit, as the format of the competition, in which the road to victory is open to any team in Romania, reflects the OSHEE spirit. Through this partnership, we will have the opportunity not only to demonstrate to the players competing in the Romanian Cup the health and performance benefits of our products, but also to introduce our most popular products, isotonic functional drinks and vitamin water, to the spectators and the general public,” said Bogdan Lehman, Country Manager Oshee Romania.

In order to promote the partnership and the competition, starting this fall, the labels of OSHEE isotonic drinks will have a special graphic featuring some of the protagonists of the Romanian Cup: Darius Olaru (FCSB), Denis Alibec (Farul Constanța), Alexandru Mitriță (Universitatea Craiova), Ciprian Deac (CFR Cluj), Cristian Săpunaru (FC Rapid 1923), Alexandru Pop (Oțelul Galați).
