If we talk about the rule of law this year, Albania is not among the countries that can be taken as an example.

It ranks 89th, and compared to previous years, it has lost points, which shows that a number of factors related to human rights, corruption and justice are not at the desired levels for a democratic country.

In the report of the World Justice Project, an international civil society organization, our country has collected 48 points out of 100.

In the 8 factors analyzed, the biggest problem for our country is corruption, which continues to dominate through bribery and misuse of public funds. If analyzed separately, Albania would be ranked 107th because of this phenomenon.

On the other hand, our country has progressed in terms of guaranteeing order and security, a factor that ranks us in 54th place.

In the regional ranking, Albania remains with Serbia at the bottom of the table, while Montenegro and Kosovo have made significant progress.

Meanwhile, the rule of law has weakened in most countries, due to the authoritarian policies that have been followed this year, reports Euronews Albania. /Telegraph/
