Slovakia: President Pellegrini Urges Cabinet to Act to Avoid EU Sanctions

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini urged the government to take action to avoid potential measures from the European Union that risk halting the flow of critical subsidies.

The bloc’s executive arm is now weighing a procedure against the nation over a suspected erosion of the rule of law.
