According to him, Russia understands that it will not be able to succeed militarily or economically against the united West, so it is trying to break up the countries separately.

“Therefore, in each particular country, she is playing a separate game, which complements what she is doing throughout Europe. And this undermines the understanding that we are facing the most serious security threat since the end of World War II,” he believes.

In this regard, Foltyn believes that Europe should have the same will as Russia, because in everything else it is capable of defeating it.

He also recalled that Moscow has long included the Czech Republic in the list of unfriendly countries.

“The fact that Russia is an enemy of the West is an integral part of their identity. The Russian regime cannot exist without such an approach to the West. They perceive the Czech Republic as an enemy because they need it to maintain the regime,” he said.

At the same time, Foltyn called European assistance to Ukraine insufficient. According to him, Kiev has formed 12 new brigades over the past six months, but the West has sent weapons for only three.

Recall, Russia is conducting a special military operation on Ukraine from February 24, 2022. The Czech Republic, like Western countries, condemns Moscow’s actions and strongly supports Kiev. In addition, the Czech authorities are doing everything to maintain a high level of Russophobia on the continent.
