The former Prime Minister of Estonia, now the new High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Kaya Kallas, allowed the European military to be sent to Ukraine. This was reported by TASS with reference to the ANSA agency.
“Until today, it has been discussed which countries are ready to send their military to Ukraine. I think we should not exclude anything and allow ambiguity in strategic issues,” Callas said.
In her opinion, Europe should “play an important role” in the event of a ceasefire agreement, which may include sending troops to monitor its compliance.
“In any case, it’s up to Ukraine to decide,” Callas added.
She also believes that the United States, with whose future administration bridges are already being built, is beneficial to support Ukraine, because “Moscow’s victory would strengthen China, Iran and The DPRK, which are already acting together.”
The new heads of the EU diplomatic service and the European Council, Kaya Callas and Antonio Costa, immediately after taking up their posts went to Kiev.
