Logicor Launches New Sustainable Logistics Park in Příšovice, Czech Republic
(IN BRIEF) Logicor has launched Logicor Příšovice, its first logistics park outside Prague, converting a former brownfield site into a 20,500 sqm state-of-the-art logistics hub. Strategically located along the D10 highway with railway access, the park supports production, storage, and office operations while incorporating sustainable features like LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, and EV charging stations. The project, which also benefits the local community with cycling paths, greenery, and infrastructure upgrades, is expected to boost the Liberec region’s competitiveness and create jobs. Logicor continues to invest in the Czech market with ongoing developments such as Logicor Prague-Průmyslová.
(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 11-Dec-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, a prominent European logistics real estate developer, has unveiled its latest project, Logicor Příšovice, marking the company’s first logistics park outside Prague. The development has transformed a former brownfield site into a cutting-edge logistics hub, showcasing Logicor’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and community-centered solutions.
Situated strategically along the D10 highway, the park provides excellent connectivity to key locations, including Prague (70 km), Mladá Boleslav, and Liberec (28 km). The 20,500 sqm site consists of two state-of-the-art buildings designed to support production, storage, and office functions. One of the standout features is its dedicated railway siding adjacent to Building A, enabling tenants to establish a rail-road cargo terminal for efficient multimodal transportation.
Pavel Rufert, Director of Logicor Czech Republic, described the project as a significant step forward: “Logicor Příšovice underscores our strategy to deliver modern, sustainable logistics solutions in the Czech market. This development incorporates advanced technologies such as energy-efficient LED lighting with DALI automation, a rainwater harvesting system, EV charging stations, and provisions for photovoltaic panels, aligning with our ambitious environmental goals.”
Beyond logistics functionality, the park is expected to bring considerable benefits to the Liberec region, including job creation and attracting leading brands to enhance the region’s global competitiveness. Logicor also prioritized community engagement and environmental stewardship during construction, investing in greenery, local infrastructure, and amenities. Notably, the project included connecting utility networks to the local natural swimming pool, developing cycling paths, and organizing community events in Příšovice.
Mayor František Drbohlav highlighted the cooperative efforts: “Working with Logicor was a positive experience. Together, we achieved solutions that benefit both parties, including the connection of municipal networks and the integration of a cycle path through Logicor’s land. Separating truck traffic has created a safer and more pleasant environment for cyclists and pedestrians.”
Logicor Příšovice is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the Czech logistics market. The company is simultaneously working on new projects, including Logicor Prague-Průmyslová, set for completion next year, and Logicor Prague-Airport, which is already operational. This expansion reflects Logicor’s focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the growing demand for logistics real estate across Europe.
