The Gunners sometimes struggle to break down well-drilled defences and Monaco will look to use that to their advantage on Wednesday.
We reckon the Ligue 1 side, who are only five points behind PSG in top spot back home, will have some success in keeping the score down.
Having said that, Arsenal should have enough quality to get the job done.
⚽ Tip Arsenal to win and under 2.5 goals at 13/5 with bet365 ⚽
Over 6.5 Arsenal corners
Only 23 percent of Arsenal’s attacks in the Champions League have come down the middle of the pitch. Only four teams in the competition have used central areas less than that.
If Arsenal adopt the same approach to try and get around Monaco’s rearguard, they are likely to win a fair few corners.
As we mentioned above, that would be welcomed by Arteta given how dangerous Arsenal are in those situations.
It is hard to actively work on getting corner kicks, but the home team should dominate possession here and that also increases their chances of winning them.
The Premier League’s set-piece experts are likely to have a few opportunities to demonstrate that skill on the European stage this week.

Bukayo Saka to score any time
Whenever Arsenal need someone to step up and be counted, it is often Bukayo Saka who takes responsibility.
The England international thought he had notched a late winner against Fulham on Sunday, only for the ‘goal’ to be chalked off for a marginal offside in the build-up.
Even without that strike, Saka is Arsenal’s joint-top scorer across the Premier League and Champions League this term.
Saka is a creator of chances as well as a converter of them, but we like his chances of making the net ripple against Monaco.
The Ligue 1 outfit have only kept one clean sheet in the Champions League. They are unlikely to double that tally here, and in our view Saka is the most likely scorer.
