During the draw held at Fifa headquarters in Zurich, at midday yesterday, the white and blues of the Titan were placed in the fifth pot together with Moldova, Malta, Andorra, Gibraltar and Liechtenstein. None of these, therefore, could have shared the San Marino group.
Twelve groups, half of which are made up of four teams and the remaining five teams. San Marino was looking at the latter, drawn as the second team in pot 5 by Gianluca Zambrotta, the former world champion midfielder with Italy in 2006. For Cevoli’s national team there are no new challenges ahead.
