Poland reaffirms support for Albania’s EU path
Minister Sikorski congratulated Albania on its progress in the EU integration process and reaffirmed Poland’s support. He expressed hope for continued reforms and the opening of new negotiation areas during Poland’s upcoming presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2025.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski summarized his 55th foreign visit this year, stating that the discussions in Tirana focused mainly on Albania’s EU accession, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and key bilateral cooperation issues.
According to the talks, Polish-Albanian relations are strong, and both sides are committed to continuing this fruitful cooperation, both bilaterally and in international and regional organizations.
