Latvian Defence Minister Andris Sprūds has announced that the country has prepared another batch of drones for delivery to Ukraine.

Details: Sprūds wrote that the latest shipment includes over 1,000 combat drones of various types.
Quote: “Together with Latvian drone manufacturers, we continue to support Ukraine. The latest shipment, consisting of more than 1,000 combat drones of various types, has been prepared.”
More details: He also reiterated that Latvia and the United Kingdom lead the Drone Coalition. The minister added that in 2025, Latvia will allocate an additional €20 million for drone procurement within the coalition framework.
Background:
Previously, it was reported that countries within the drone coalition and the maritime coalition under the Ramstein format would begin large-scale deliveries of various drones to Ukraine starting in January, amounting to “tens of thousands” of pieces.
In June, the UK and Latvia, on behalf of the drone coalition, announced a tender to supply Ukraine with FPV drones worth €352,000.
In July, the participating countries of the drone coalition signed a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a joint fund of €45 million.
