Austria has formally said it would buy 12 Leonardo M-346 trainers after signaling in August it was leaning toward the aircraft type. Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner said the deal to buy the M-346FA to replace the Saab 105, phased out in 2020, will be arranged through a joint purchase with Italy…
