TAP Air Portugal continues its expansion into the US market.

, TAP works closely with its US airline partner, United Airlines, to feed traffic from across the latter’s network onto flights to Portugal and beyond. In a statement provided to Simple Flying, Carlos Antunes, TAP’s Director for the Americas, expressed his excitement about the discounted flights going on sale:
“Everyone loves to celebrate the new year by planning a new trip to an exciting destination.
“Right now, TAP has some of our best fares available to Portugal as well as 40 additional European and African cities to choose from. And, of course, even our best sales always include our popular Portugal Stopover program where you can also enjoy up to 10 days in Portugal along the way for no additional airfare.”

The sale is live now and encompasses travel from January 15th through May 15th, 2025 (except for the blackout dates of April 7th—22nd).
How much are flights to Portugal?
The New Year sale offers roundtrip fares to Europe starting for as little as $419 this spring, while Business Class flights to Portugal begin at $2299 roundtrip. Passengers flying out of Boston Logan International Airport
(BOS) and Miami International Airport
(MIA) have access to the most affordable flights, with the $419 roundtrip deal covering flights from both cities to Madrid and Barcelona.
Travelers looking to fly from Chicago O’Hare International Airport
(ORD) can find the cheapest fares to Copenhagen and Dublin. Roundtrip tickets from the

hub to Barcelona, Madrid, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, and Warsaw can all be found for under $500.

West Coast passengers can find the best deals departing from San Francisco International Airport
(SFO) to Barcelona, Madrid, and Milan, all of which can be booked for less than $500. Flights to Funchal and Porto Santo in Madeira and the Moroccan cities of Marrakech and Casablanca come in at just under $700 round trip.
