An exhibition of Polish art and design, Regeneration, opened on Tuesday, and other attractions included a performance by the Wasilewski jazz ensemble at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in the Belgian capital.
The Regeneration exhibition features works by emerging Polish artists making their mark on the international art and design scene.

Highlights include Alicja Patanowska’s We Are the Weather installation, displayed in the atrium of the Justus Lipsius building, and Underneath the Hard Ground, Soft Ground, another installation by Alicja Biała, showcased at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union.

Organised by the Warsaw-based Adam Mickiewicz Institute under the motto Culture Sparks Unity, the cultural programme of Poland’s EU presidency aims to spotlight the most exciting trends in contemporary Polish art, with a focus on the new generation of talent.
