BANGKOK — Thailand will sign its first trade agreement with countries from Europe, when Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra inks the pact on Thursday in Davos with Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
Collectively known as the European Free Trade Association or EFTA, the four countries imported $1.8 billion worth of goods and services from Thailand in 2023, and exported $1.4 billion. Switzerland is Thailand’s 14th largest trading partner.
