Belgium’s football federation has named Rudi Garcia as the new head coach of the national team, marking a fresh chapter for the Red Devils.
The 60-year-old Frenchman has built a solid reputation coaching top European clubs like Napoli, Marseille, and Roma, but this will be his first time managing a national squad.
Garcia steps in after Domenico Tedesco’s short-lived stint ended abruptly last week.
Tedesco, who took over in February 2023, was brought in to shake up Belgian football following a disappointing World Cup exit under Roberto Martínez.
However, his efforts to revive the team didn’t stick, leading to his early dismissal.
