A low-cost airline is offering a special last-minute Valentine’s Day gift.
PLAY Airlines is offering passengers a Valentine’s Day deal of 30 percent off flights from the U.S. to popular European destinations. PLAY is an Iceland-based low-cost carrier using new Airbus aircrafts. The airline connects U.S. travelers to Europe via Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavík. Passengers can do a quick connection, but the airline also allows passengers to book flights with extended stopovers in Iceland — which they call a “stayover” — for up to 10 days. Stayovers can be booked on outbound flights, inbound flights or both.
To take advantage of the deal, flights must be booked between February 11 and 18. The destinations available are often considered bucket-listers for travelers and are perfect for creating lasting memories, like viewing the Northern Lights in Iceland, taking a stroll in Paris, or seeing Big Ben in London.
The PLAY deal is limited to select locations and airports in Iceland (KEF), Copenhagen (CPH), Paris (CDG), London (STN), Amsterdam (AMS), Berlin, (BER), and Dublin (DUB). Flights must also be booked from the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and New York Stewart International Airport (SWF).
To take advantage of this deal, Play’s flights do not have to occur over Valentine’s Day, but they must be booked for the following dates.

The fare is per person and per one-way flight for a booked round-trip. The deal can be booked at Fly Play, but doesn’t include baggage allowance or seat selection. Those services are “always offered with an additional discount” as part of “bundled airfares PLAY basic plus, PLAY value, and PLAY flex when booking flights.” The offer “includes all mandatory taxes, fees and carrier charges and is subject to availability.”
