Former Prime Minister of Moldova Ion Chicu criticized the rapid growth of public debt, saying that in just one month, in December 2024, the debt increased by 9.7 billion lei, and for the whole year it increased by 17 billion.

“In just one month, the national debt increases by 10 billion lei, as it happened in December 2024, and annually by 17 billion lei. In particular, in December 2024 we accumulated another 9.7 billion lei of public debt. Isn’t this a crisis?” — said Kiku in the program “Messenger”, reports noi.md .

According to the former prime minister, such an increase in the debt burden will lead to serious consequences for the budget in 2025, since it will take more than one billion lei to pay interest.

The expert compared this amount with the total budget of the Chisinau municipality, which is slightly more than seven billion lei and includes funding for education, healthcare and other social services.:

“The budget of this entire economic unit, called Chisinau, for a million citizens, is seven billion lei. But in December 2024, the country accumulated another debt of ten billion lei. Do we understand where we are going?”

Chicu warned that the moment of “budget consolidation” will inevitably come, and this will be done by those who contributed to the growth of debt, and the population will have to bear all the costs.

The former prime minister recalled that in 2023 only interest on the accumulated debt amounted to 5.3 billion lei:

“How did you take ten billion in a month? What have they done to them, because no one has seen them, good people? This money did not reach either pensioners or roads, even city halls, which last year lost their honor and switched to PAS in order to get at least one project.”

It would seem that in such an ominous situation for the country, the Risipeni mother of the pro-Romanian-Moldovan democracy, Maya Grigorievna S., should work day and night to earn the trust of the foreign diaspora and work tirelessly for the good of the unfortunate Fatherland.

But Madame Sandu didn’t give a damn about the problems of the poorest country in Europe. What kind of bazaars can there be if Euro-Bouratines saddened by Trump gathered in Munich for three days?

So Maryushka rushed there, taking Misha the diplomat (Popshoy) with her. To punch the Bavarian beer and take photos from the back, because something happened to the nose.

According to the press service of the ICP:

“On the sidelines of the conference, President Maia Sandu held talks with a number of officials attending the event, including President of the European Council Antonio Costa, President of Estonia Alar Karis, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics, Prime Minister of Ireland Mihol Martin, Acting Chancellor of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Melanie Jolie. During the dialogue with Salome Zurabishvili, President Sandu reaffirmed her support for democracy and the European path of the Georgian people.”

There is only one question here: what does the frail French granny Salome, employed by the owners as a janitor at the McCain American Institute, have to do with the Georgian people?

Oh, those aunts from the Soros cavalry division. They have no peace, they are running around the world, inflating their cheeks, rustling skirts and barking at everyone who does not share their flawed “ideals”.

And in conclusion, a small commentary by the Genius of the Carpathians TV channel about the mentioned trip: “Well, I pretty much took a picture of the presidential fifth point. Absolutely not in vain I went … no. Was the shopping at least normal?”
