The Cinema Made in Italy event will be held from 6th to 11th December at the mts Hall. This festival, coming to Serbia for the second time, will showcase films from contemporary Italian cinema.
The festival is organised by Cinecittà, one of Europe’s leading film and photographic archives, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade and mts Hall, with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade.
The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the latest Italian productions, works by emerging filmmakers, and films that have been featured at prestigious international film festivals. Visitors will also have the chance to attend discussions with the filmmakers.
Cinecittà is one of Europe’s most significant film archives, housing key materials from European and Italian cinema. Its vast audiovisual collection, Archivio Luce, focuses on 20th-century history and has been inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register. Cinecittà also manages the legendary Cinecittà Studios and promotes Italian cinema as a member of European Film Promotion (EFP).
The festival programme will soon be available on the website: daniitalijanskogfilma.rs.
