No lasting peace without Ukraine, warn Polish and Belgian foreign ministers

The ministers agreed that it is impossible to achieve sustainable peace without engaging Ukraine and its European partners in the process.

The meeting also served as a platform for exchanging views on regional and global issues, including EU enlargement and the ongoing conflict in eastern Congo.

Belgium’s Foreign Minister also held an informal meeting in Warsaw with Poland’s Minister for European Affairs, Adam Szłapka. Their discussion covered key topics such as hybrid threats, EU enlargement, the multi-annual financial framework, and strengthening Europe’s resilience – crucial issues for the continent’s future.
