Troya, an Israeli manufacturer of laser pointers, designators, and electro-optic solutions, has joined SAPRA, the International Association of Defense Products Manufacturers, based in Latvia. SAPRA is an international organization representing defense product manufacturers, with a focus on fostering industry growth, advocating for member interests, and promoting cooperation with national, EU, and international defense institutions.

Troya explained that joining SAPRA is part of its broader marketing strategy for Europe, aimed at increasing sales of the STRIX, the company’s long-standing night vision binoculars for pilots. These binoculars are used by military, police, and civilian customers worldwide, including many European countries. As part of this initiative, the company plans to expand its marketing efforts in the Baltic states and Eastern Europe.

Tomer Snir, Troya’s CMO and Co-Founder, stated, “Troya will contribute to the advancement of the defense production sector by exchanging knowledge and expertise and strengthening cooperation with both national and EU institutions. This partnership is crucial for Troya as it aims to enhance innovation in defense product manufacturing and promotion. Troya’s membership in SAPRA highlights its commitment to supporting Latvia’s defense industry and contributing to its national security, while also expanding its presence in NATO and EU markets.
